About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see the world, things dangerous to come to, to see behind walls, draw closer, to find each other and to feel. That is the purpose of life.

ABOUT ME

Studying economics in Augsburg and trying to find as much time for travelling and the arts as possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Already did it a couple of times (over this website, but also other social media) and it's always been a great experience! I've met some wonderful people while travelling and am still in touch with a lot of them. Hosting was always fun as well, I love showing people my town (even though there's not too much to see here) and talking to fellow travellers.

Interests

Travelling (who would've guessed!), my band, cinema and everything film, literature, photography, dancing and running, yoga, learning something new everyday, cooking (or at least trying to), contemporary art, writing in coffee shops and other cliché places, staying up all night and then complaining about it in the morning.

Music, Movies, and Books

All kinds of them, really. Huge film, music and literature enthusiast right here.

Movies: everything from Quention Tarantion to Leos Carax. Current favourite: Victoria (Sebastian Schipper, 2015)
Books: Haruki Murakami, Carlos Ruiz Zafon, Patrick Süßkind, Jonathan Coe, Amos Oz, Heinrich Heine, Ray Bradbury, Jack Kerouac
Music: The Black Keys, Rise Against, Glass Animals, Electric Youth, One Ok Rock, Broken Bells, Foo Fighters, Bring Me The Horizon, Bon Iver, Beartooth, Tame Impala, The Hunna, Foals, Snow Patrol.

...and a lot more! I love discovering new music, books and movies or talking about old ones.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watched the sunset from a rooftop in Jerusalem.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've taught German classes as a part of my volunteer service, so if you want to polish up your German, I'm your girl!

I'm also a pretty decent baker, so I usually love to make something sweet for my hosts/guests!

Learning how to play guitar (help is very welcome!) so I could show you some simple songs or chords, but I really need to practice more. If you can teach me how to play, you'll be my favourite person in the world. But my singing is way better than my guitar playing, so that's something I could share with you in return!

And of course - sharing all the stories and experiences made on the road, blankets, cups of coffee and everything else I can offer.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My pleasant company! ;) Ok, jokes aside: fun travel stories, lots of books and movie recommendations, making music together, late night talks about everything and nothing, a self cooked meal or two (or three if you ask nicely) and a friend from Germany you can always hit up if you're in need of a couch.
