I connect with the people and world around me through the arts - theatre, music, visual art, performance art.. I play guitar and write my own songs, I also write theatre, and enjoy watching it even more. I am a keen vegetable gardener, and love helping people start up their gardens. I have two dogs who I love dearly. I firmly believe the best thing to have up your sleeve is a good funny bone.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have a year of travelling this year. I want to see as much of the world as I can. I love meeting people, sharing stories and ideas, making new friends and engaging with people not in my immediate surrounding. I love travelling overseas as much as I love hosting people myself and showing them round my city - beautiful Cape Town.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was stuck boarding at a catholic school, and while hitchhiking one weekend I met some Russian Magicians. I ran away with them and joined the circus, and have been travelling ever since.
