I started to like reading not that long ago so I dind't know that much books but here are some that a really could recommend: Irrungen, Wirrungen (Fontane), Ensel und Grete (Moers), Love (Tamaro), Känguru-Chroniken, selbst denken (Welzer), Narziß und Goldmund (Hesse)
Movies and Series:::: all of Tarrantino, breaking bad and the mainstream ones that you already know ;) I really like Tale Movies and new japanese movies because they are often deep, shaking, taking you down to earth and make you wondorous at the same time. And shaun the Sheep!
