Overview
About Me
Hi ! I’m Sophie, I’m 18 and I live in Paris. I travelled a lot thanks to my parents and I’m so grateful for that ! But I'm far from having met everyone on the planet, discovered every culture, tasted every dish in the universe and seen every breathtaking landscape, so I'm still travelling !
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m going to Germany alone for one month to discover new people and to live with locals to really appreciate the culture ! I am also there to study the relationships between Grimm’s fairy tales and the local population. How have folk customs influenced storytelling ? What is the importance of these tales for the German ? Is it really important in their growth ? What is the impact on their mentality, way to live etc

Music, Movies, and Books
I love all kinds of literature : fantasy, thrillers, contemporary, poetry... I'd love to make a career out of it when I grow up!
I play the violin and the piano. Classical music is very pleasant to play and listen to, but not all the time. I really like French songs of the 21st century, but also American pop and rap.
I confess that I have a very poor film culture: I hardly ever watch films, but I'm open to recommendations !
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
At the beginning of the year, I made a road trip with my parents in Albania. It was just magical : the landscapes, the hospitality of the inhabitants, the mixed culture !! That’s definitely a country in which I will go back :)
