Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Anything that makes me feel good and connects me with a time and place. I love live music. Some favorite artists= Lady Gaga, Pink Floyd, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros. I love the learning and connecting power of music. Movies: Needs a good plot and character building, Favorite= Pan's Labyrinth. Books: I love artistic books like Ulysses. I love books that make me question reality like Orwell's 1984. But, my favorite= Everyone Poops.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I biked the Alaska Pipeline. Im an amateur adventurer. I get an idea in my head and I find the basic means to do it. It might not be the most informed or well planned trip. But it is always an adventure ;)

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a lot of random facts about the ocean and animals. I know A LOT about Alaska. I am interested in seeing how people embrace their community.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A smile, some listening ears and an Alaskan's perspective. I am more than willing to help around the house. I love to share meals and mead ;). If the host wants me to only stay for minimal hours for sleeping, then I also enjoy spending my days out and about in the town and in nature.
