About Me

I graduated uni, and because I'm quite an indecisive person I had a quarter life crisis and decided to backpack around Asia with my friend to avoid making real life decisions! Needless to say I caught the travel bug so worked a boring job back in the UK to save the pennies and came over to Oz on a working holiday visa. I just want to explore as much of the world as possible while I have no commitments or responsibilities and maybe one day I'll find my dream place to settle down (:

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm very new to couchsurfing, I didn't know much about it before I came to Australia but I'm so glad I've been introduced to it! Myself and my 2 travel buddies are currently couchsurfing the east coast of Australia together and really enjoying the experience. I think we've seen a different side to places that most backpackers don't see by staying with local people, and we would like to continue travelling this way if we can! The generosity we've received from total strangers has been amazing, and I know when I do settle down I want to start hosting people when I can, so thank you couchsurfing!

Interests

Animals, scuba-diving, yoga, zoning out listening to music on long journeys, festivals, deep conversations about meaningful and meaningless things (ie talking shite), playing video games, I wish I had more but it's hard when you're moving around! I'd love to learn to play the harp or piano one day.
