About Me
I am mental health counsellor and university tutor from Brisbane Australia, who loves travel and is looking forward to some more cool experiences travelling and meeting travellers. I'm a pretty chilled-out and happy person by most accounts :) apparently I smile a lot too!
I really enjoy meeting new people and hearing their stories. I'm a very curious person and really enjoy learning about new things, including hearing about perspectives and opinions that are different from my own. I have Irish and Maltese heritage, and love to connect with people from both similar and different backgrounds to myself. Over the years I have enjoyed living and travelling with many people, and find that with an open-mind you can form a connection with anyone.
I'm the sort of person that is equally happy doing any of the following: having a cup of tea and a chat, enjoying and dancing to live music, watching sport, looking at cool arty things, going on walks through natural environments, wandering through a city centre, strumming a guitar or just sitting and enjoying a view.
(Just a note for anyone contacting me, I am not in Brisbane from late October 2024 - January 2025 due to travel abroad, so I apologise I can’t hang out or host in Brisbane)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Coushsurfing is attractive to me as I am trying to understand and experience more of the world by spending time with the amazing diversity of people that live in it! I love the idea of sharing a travel experience with genuine, fun and open-minded people. I believe sharing experiences with these kind of people make them all the better.
