About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Poking into the nooks and crannies of the globe
ABOUT ME
I am an open and honest person with a huge heart. I love my friends and family and would do anything for them. I love animals and music and I enjoy keeping active and having fun. I'm crazy and have a lot of energy, and I'm always up for trying new things, especially when I travel! One of my favourite pastimes is with a good book and a cup of tea, whether at home or in a random cafe down an alleyway in Stockholm.
PHILOSOPHY
Be committed, stick with your goals and strive for the interesting and extraordinary. But at the same time, relax, enjoy life and break away from the seriousness. Above all, keep your feet itchy and your heart happy.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Not much experience yet, I have been a student in Melbourne for the past 3.5 years and our crazy student house has always been open to friends and friends of friends, especially internationals! So not specifically with couch surfing but our couch was definitely well surfed.
Interests
I am a student and in my free time I go skating, and spend time with friends. I love horses and have one back at home in the country and so love going home for a ride. I've always loved to read and lately been getting into reading graphic novels. I love to travel and find amazing places to explore!

Music, Movies, and Books
Once again reading the Song of Ice and Fire series because I couldn't decide which book series I should read while I was away and I fell back on that because it's amazing and I knew it would keep me entertained in those airport stints. On kindle of course!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When travelling in Tanzania I climbed Mt Kilimanjaro (2010).
Today I climbed a mountain in the north of Norway (Lofoten). The view was mind blowing.
Teach, Learn, Share
If you are coming to visit Australia you are most likely going to be visiting Melbourne at some stage. Please do not be fooled into thinking that everywhere in Australia is warm and sunny because Melbourne can often be the opposite. If you are coming in winter make sure you bring good shoes and a jacket, otherwise your first few days will be miserable! Trust me, I've seen it happen on more than one occasion.
Go to the markets for your fruit and veg. The supermarkets are expensive and the markets are so cheap! Queen Victoria Markets if you are close to the city, Camberwell markets out East, Prahan or South Melbourne Markets if you are south. I'm sure there are more too.
Get a bike if you are staying long term, or rent or borrow one if you are there short term. There are also the shared bikes everywhere. Remember that it's a law to wear a helmet.
Cho Gao in Melbourne Central do really great pizza and drink deals every day of the week.
You can get good coffee almost everywhere.
That's all I got for now :)
