Overview
About Me
I grew up in Burlington, Vermont, a small New England college town with a beautiful lake and lots of real maple syrup. Since graduating from college in 2014, I have been living/traveling/volunteering/working in Europe, primarily in France and Italy. I recently spent six months in Sicily teaching English as part of a Workaway project. At the moment I am studying in Bonn, Germany.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm fairly new to Couchsurfing and open to any tips. I like being able to meet local people when I travel -- if you are with good people, it can make any place ten times better. It's fun to get tips on where to go and what to see from someone who really knows the area.
Interests
I studied anthropology and French translation in college. I am most interested in linguistics --especially language endangerment and revitalization-- and learning/teaching languages. I am hoping to continue my studies later this year and eventually get a masters degree in linguistics. I love ricotta, turbulence in planes, singing, and campfires with s'mores.
