ABOUT ME

I’m a French-English bilingual practicing artist and architecture student who’s lived in the US for 11 years. I’m passionate and energetic about what I do (and frankly a bit nerdy about it all, I can talk for ages about art and architecture). There is nothing than I love more than to cook a great meal with friends, drink a good bottle of wine, all while dancing and singing around the kitchen :)

Interests

I love to cook (especially French food, Crepes anyone?), listen to music (Alternative, electronic, 60's -70's soul, ratchet rap, etc...), Go to concerts/festivals, bar hop, Travel (I grew up traveling back to France every summer), make/talk about/ see art ( you can see my work here http://cargocollective.com/sophie_eichner/Sophie-Eichner-Artist-Statement ), and chatting to just about anyone!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I exhibited artwork in the Miami Art Museum last year. My work is semi sculptural, but hangs from the wall so everyone runs into them.... My 3 sculptures had to have their own personal security guard to protect them during the opening...haha
