About Me

ABOUT ME

You probably just read it, I'm Sophie and I currently live in Bordeaux where I am a student. I like to travel and even if I haven't done a lot yet, I'm definitely working on it. In 2009 I took my first important trip abroad and by myself for a month in the US: that was the first life changing experience that I had.

PHILOSOPHY

I like to live new experiences, not being stuck in too much of a routine... My home will be your home, so I'll try to make sure you feel as comfortable as possible, and be as available as I can in order to show you the city I'm living in.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I currently cannot host anybody since I don't really have a place anymore to live in Bordeaux, but hopefully I will soon and when I do, it will be my pleasure to host people from all over the world and exchange stories.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In may 2011 I took a trip with a few friends and that was my first (but not last!) couchsurfing experience: we were hosted in Vegas, and we had an amazing time. After being back to France, my roomates hosted couchsurfers. I'm going to have my own place now, and want to host as well.

Interests

Of course I like to travel, and listen to people's stories about their trips. I also like spending time with my friends, living and sharing new experiences, reading, going to the movies, and since I'm from Bordeaux I also happen to like... wine.

Music, Movies, and Books

One of my favorite movies is a french one, by Jacques Audiard "De Battre mon coeur s'est arrêté" ("The beat that my heart skipped"). It's hard to tell what my favorite book would be... but probably any book from Zola, I'm a big fan.
