Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like to share the love by sharing my couch! I live with my guy and our two dogs in New Zealand in a small town about 3 hours south of Christchurch!

I host people sporadically - when I have time and when I am around. I work in Turkey every other month so am only in NZ some of the time. I also love meeting people for coffee etc and expeditions when I'm travelling myself.
I prefer surfers who are easy going, not evil and who don't have attitude problems! Also, I get tired very quickly of people who always complain! If you are happy and laid back I'm sure I'll love your company!

I don't have time for Couch Surfers who are only in this to save money and to get a free bed. It is always nice to spend time and have a conversation and a meal/wine/coffee or similar :) Also, unfortunately I don't host people who don't have reviews...I am a girl and often home on my own so have to keep it real and be safe! Having said that, I would love to meet you for coffee or similar if you don't have a review so that I can give you your first! Sorry if I sound evil!! I promise I am not! Just want to keep this a happy community full of great experiences!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I really love the concept of Couch Surfing. I joined in 2011 and hosted a couple of people in New Zealand which was fun because it allowed me to see my country through different eyes! I moved to Addis Ababa at the end of 2011 and hosted a couple of people. I was also happy to have met some wonderful people in Addis through Couch Surfing - it's was fantastic to have people to share my experiences with. I am now back in NZ, working overseas about half of the time. So I may or may not be able to host! Be sure to send me a message to check!
