About Me

2024: Living a quiet and adventurous life with my sweetheart in the Laurentians. We're enjoying discovering Quebec, have plans to visit BC soon. Costa Rica, Peru and Azores are next on our travel bucket list!

2020: revised: I decided to refund my plane ticket and move in with my beloved grand-maman in St-Sauveur, Quebec.

2020: It's time for me to move on from Ottawa. I am putting my few possessions into storage and have a one-way ticket to BC. I'd like to explore the province to see if there is somewhere/something that inspires me to stay.

2019: Back in Ottawa, Canada after 7 months of travelling abroad. I miss connecting with fellow travellers and adventuring with new friends. I am "between" houses right now, so cannot host. But, please write me if you'd like advice on this beautiful city and/or would like to get together.

2018 - 2019:
I am a caring, compassionate young woman who strives to live every day with mindful grace and a curiosity of self, others and of the world. I have 4 years of experience working in community health, where I have learned how to build and grow developmental relationships with teenagers in supporting them through high school. I have excellent communication skills and a big heart.

2011:
Nice, friendly, outgoing Canadian who loves to travel and have a good time. Living in Ottawa now, working for a wonderful organisation called Katimavik. http://www.katimavik.org/
I live with 11 youth from all over Canada in one house. This can be stressful, (for obvious reasons) but is wildly rewarding.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

2020:
Exploring British Columbia. I'm hoping to meet some new friends and get insight into life out there..

2019:
Travelling on my own around India and on a budget! It would be great to connect with locals (and travellers alike) to make the most of my journey. Looking to connect with my truth, to live my best self.

2018:
I am planning a trip to France in September. I will mostly be living and volunteering on organic farms, through Wwoofing. At times, I would like to explore nearby cities and will likely be looking for a place to stay. I would also be glad for some company, or some local advice, as I will be travelling alone.

2008:
I discovered while living in Osaka, Japan that many people travel to Osaka and need/want a place to stay as well as support in navigating the city. I hosted many couchsurfers there and loved every encounter! Now that I'm home and sharing a house with family... a couch might not always be possible (nor desireable) so lets meet up in town!
