About Me
Hi there!
My name is Sophie, I currently live in Breda and I graduated from the art academy here in 2016, after studying philosophy for one year in Amsterdam.
I love to read (and write!), watch movies/series, to cook and of course to have a beer with nice people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books
I find it so hard to choose my "favorite music", I can only try to name a few of them:
Radiohead, CocoRosie, the Doors, Daugther, Lamb, Madrugada, Porcupine Tree, The War On Drugs, Nils Frahm, Portishead, Other Lives... and many more. ;)
One of my favorite movies is Only Lovers Left Alive, partially because of the amazing soundtrack!
I read a lot of books, so again choosing a favorite is not easy. Dostoyevsky is definitely one of my favorite authors, but Orwell's "1984", Kundera's "The Unbearable Lightness of Being", Kafka's "The Trial", Fallaci's "A Man" and everything from Boelgakov would also make my top ten.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The first thing that pops up is my trip from Breda to Sweden and Croatia, which I made with two friends only by hitchhiking for five weeks. That was an true adventure!
