关于我
After living as a digital nomad and traveling full time for 2,5 years, I moved to Berlin in 2020, right before the pandemic.
I love exploring new places, meeting new people and trying new foods.
I’m an experienced surfer, but new to hosting. Please read my profile and house description carefully. If you think we’d vibe and you’re looking for a place to stay in Berlin, send me a message!
I prefer to host on the weekend as I work full-time and mostly from home. But if you’re okay with exploring on your own, you can also stay during the week. Living a sustainable lifestyle with empathy for people and the planet is important to me and I expect the same from my guests. I try very hard to make my apartment a safe space, especially for marginalised people, any intolerant behaviour or attitude is not welcome.
I prefer to host only short stays, 1-3 nights, as I don’t have much space. If you’re okay with entertaining yourself, I can host during the week, but I will have to work
我为什么加入 Couchsurfing
I like to travel low budget, but more importantly: I love that Couchsurfing lets you meet locals which helps you see a completely different side to a city. Couchsurfing fits perfectly with my no-plans, adventure style of travel, where I sort of make it all up as I go :)
I've been using CS for a couple of years while I was traveling the world and have had the pleasure of staying with lots of amazing people and making friends from different countries and cultures. Now that I have my own place, I’m happy to start hosting others.
Why I am NOT on Couchsurfing: I hate that I have to say this, but I am not here to date. Please don't message me with the intent of hitting on me.
兴趣
Obviously, I love to travel, but that hardly seems original for a Couchsurfing profile. I love to cook (and eat), art, hiking and hanging out with friends.
A few years ago, I started a travel blog and Instagram documenting my trips: justheadingout.com @justheadingout.

音乐、电影和书籍
I am far from a snob when it comes to music, movies and books. I'll watch pretty much anything and I enjoy a variety of different music styles. My Spotify and Netflix playlists are a strange mix of all kinds of things.
I keep adding movies to my list but watching tv shows instead. At least my friends know who to come to for recommendations on what to watch! ;)
I'm also always reading at least 4-5 books at once. Mostly travel books and YA/Fantasy, I love to be transported to a different world.
我做过的一件不可思议的事情
The past few years have been filled with amazing things, so I'll point out a few awesome Couchsurfing experiences:
- An impromptu Irish pub crawl that ended at a random ska party
- Being the guinea pig for my hosts walking tour of Salzburg
- Racing through the Italian countryside to reach the one little trattoria with the best risotto in Italy before they closed
- Flying a plane over the Niagara falls
教,学,和分享
I love to cook and learn about local cuisine. I'd be happy to whip you a delicious vegetarian meal and learn about your culture's food as well.
I'm always up for sharing a deep conversation or just a fun chat. In my experience, this combines very well with the aforementioned food and a glass of beer or wine.
