ABOUT ME

My name is Sophia and I have lived in Vegas almost a year now! I am 23 and so enthusiastic and excited about like and new adventures. I am a Theatre major at UNLV here in Las Vegas and love performing of any kind. I am a classically trained singer and I enjoy theater, opera and any sort of music, or hot medium that is live entertainment. I want to be an actress and challenge myself to play roles i never thought possible, I know it will happen for me and I'm planning on moving to LA in June!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I went on a 2 week long road trip with my sister and had the most amazing couch surfing experiences! We stayed and visited with almost 10 different members of the couch surfing community! I really had amazing experiences and I am so appreciative of those who helped make my trip possible and I Can't want to give back and host more people here in Vegas :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have now surfed about 7 couches on my recent road trip. Every experience was different yet insightful and a great time. I drove all through middle America and had the kindest hosts and tour guides I could ask for. Some met up and showed my me and my sister around, some hosted and others gave suggestions. It was so helpful and enjoyable to have that extra knowledge in an unknown area.

I have now officially hosted 2 people and had a great time! I can't wait to participate more!

Interests

I love theater and acting, music, sports, and much much more. I am from Northern California and miss it so much but am loving being here in Las Vegas living my life and have a fun colorful college experience. I love cartoons and Spongebob and being a kid at heart :) and being a total dork

Music, Movies, and Books

Love anything old: Led Zep, Bealtes, Greatful Dead and more.... underground hip hop (bay area) and of course the fun catchy songs on the radio

As far as movies, Im not really into chick flicks but i am at the same tie, like movies that ask more existential questions about life, have a clever and unexpected plot and can really offer a mind teaser with GOOD ACTING and good cinematogrophy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I love acting and children. Most of my stories involve live performance or children :)
