I love music and live gigs, exploring new cities and the great outdoors, reading and learning new things, playing and watching sport, quality time with friends and recovery time in darkened rooms.

I have really broad tastes with most things- if my outlook is too narrow I might miss out on something great!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'll happily give most music a spin, but indie, alt, electro, soul, folk and good old rock n roll are my bread and butter. On average, I have a new favourite band every two days. Some constant favourites include Bowie, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Nick Cave, Arcade Fire, the Black Keys, the Knife, PJ Harvey, Radiohead, Wild Beasts... etc and so on.

I love reading books of fiction, books with big ideas, books about history, books about people... books in general.

Movies? Plenty. Special mention to The Big Lebowski. The dude abides.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you a lot of obscure musical facts, e.g. the track listing of the Beatles 'Revolver' album, and lots of other pub quiz-style trivia. Really useful stuff.
