ABOUT ME

I'm a musician, non-smoker, I don't drink much, else I'll get drunk... ^^

The more I get into this profession, the more I begin to see what couchsurfing means. I am obliged to travel a lot to cities which are foreign to me, often without knowing if the audition I go for will be successful or not, how the city itself works, what places are best to visit when the work stuff is over. I could use a hotel, sure. But I think that couchsurfing is much more personal, you get a better contact with the city, you can even make new friends.

PHILOSOPHY

Music is life is music. Music is a part of our lives, and our lives are again reflected in music. I can create music because I feel something, heard something, because I want to tell. I can listen to others and be inspired by that. Sometimes, I transport my life into music, and something that happens to me - a special encounter, a dream, an idea - can be part of that. This is my profession, to mirror the world from my own perspective. And this is, again, my life. Neverending story...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I always try to give something back when I come to a house I don't know. So far, I have offered various kinds of tea, gaming and talking company, incense sticks, German bread to bake when we have the chance to get an oven, plus energy and a glimpse of a work which is different from what most people know. I generally use to clean up after my meals, if I'm allowed to. Have you got something to do that I could help you with? Just ask. And finally we are able to host, too!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My boyfriend - now husband - introduced me here, so I thought it might be fun to meet people who enjoy music, books, a little history and creativity. I've been in several cities in Germany, Switzerland, Paris...

Interests

I have started a modest sports routine with jogging, Yoga, and other stuff.

I love to visit foreign cities and hear stories about it. But I love the sea as well. Woods. Parks, the green. And sunshine! 8)

Sometimes, I write poetry. But you have to be very still and quiet and open for the inspiration, so that's not a very social activity...

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Lost in translation, Chicken Run, Pi, X-men, Solaris, Films with Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn, films with a good story. Cinema lover, but I don't like very scary or tragic stuff without a bit of humor to keep the balance. Oh, and I forgot: Jackie Chaaaaan! :D Must have seen 14 movies by him now...

Music: More concerts! More opera! More singers, actors, soloists and orchestras. I'm a freak of good classical music, even Modern music. But I also like Jazz and Blues and Triphop and Pop music and Rock music as well as melodious hiphop and soul. I'm a live performance junkie.
