Like an overgrown kid, I can't stay inactive and so I am always moving around: I love traveling, hiking and doing all kind of sports immersed in nature.

In this way I can also compensate for my other big passion - food - I love to cook and eat a lot ;)

And both adventures and cooking would be pointless if you do them alone.. I like meeting new people with whom share stories, visiting places and have fun together.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't take life too seriously.
Or at least : take very few things very seriously, and be prepared to joke about the rest.

Stay young and with lot of energies by keeping the enthusiasm level high for the various things I love in life.. you get old when you're think you're not young anymore!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just moved to Stockholm and I'm still in the middle of relocating here. Big changes in my life :) I did a lost of hosting in Ancona, Italy, though.

I really enjoy to know people from different countries. It's like traveling without moving.

I like to spend time with my hosts and show them around the places, having a food/cooking exchange, learn about their culture.

So, I much prefer to host during weekends when I have more time available. During weekdays I can still host and spend sometime with you, but I'd like that also you consider CS as something more than a cheap alternative to a hostel.

Books : classics even here... especially American/Italian writers from early 1900s (Hemingway, F.S. Fitzgerald, Steinbeck, G.G. Marquez, Pavese, Fenoglio)

Even with all its problems,
I love my country, its history, its traditions and its food.. I often give a lot of suggestions to my guests about what you can do in Italy.

Technically : I know quite a lot about computer science, math.. my field is sound synthesis, so if you're a musician I can share some knowledge on how acoustical and electric instruments work.
