About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm a chill guy who is relatively nerdy and likes to party. I love music (especially folk, psychedelic, and indie), spending time with friends, going camping, and doing new things. I'm also an avid reader, and I have a special place in my heart for surrealist art, whether it be literary or visual. I like to play videogames, especially old-school NES ones.

PHILOSOPHY

"There's only one rule that I know of, babies—God damn it, you've got to be kind." (K Vonnegut)
Surrealism next to socialism!

Interests

I love to listen to and play music. I also like to advocate for causes relating to equality, and I am specifically passionate about workers' rights and gender equality. I tend to spend a lot of my free time socializing--meeting new people is kinda my favorite thing to do. I also like to play video games, read (I especially love Vonnegut, Pynchon, Nabokov, and Tom Robbins), and go out on the weekends. If you stay with me, I am 420-friendly.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: The Beatles, Radiohead, Joanna Newsom, The Velvet Underground, Bjork, Joy Division, Pixies, Sleater-Kinney, Chopin, Sonic Youth, anything that is rock and roll or psychedelic

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had the opportunity to study in Japan, and it was a fantastic experience. I lived in Tokyo, which is an amazing, vi-- city, but I also got to trek through the countryside with some friends and visit temples and shrines along the way. The complement between Tokyo's exciting city-life and the open, stunning countryside is something I will never forget.
