ABOUT ME

I am a 21 year old recent graduate from Chicago, where I have lived all of my life. I am always looking for new adventures, and firmly believe that every experience is an experience worth having. I received a B.F.A. in Photography with a minor in Black World Studies, but am currently doing freelance work in photography and web design. I am very social, though I don't drink or smoke, but I am down to enjoy the nightlife none-the-less. I like talking to strangers and meeting new people.

UBUNTU - I am who I am because of who we all are. I am a big optimist, a pacifist, a vegan, and a firm believer in co-human solidarity - basically I LOVE ALL. I love discussing personal philosophy and welcome any conversation around the subject.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am pretty new to Couch Surfing - I haven't hosted or stayed with anyone yet, though I have used a similar service called Warm Showers when I was on a cross-country bike trip and absolutely loved my experience. I hope to stay with some great folks, and have some great folks stay with me and share stories and experiences.

Interessen

I am most interested in people - meeting them, talking and sharing experiences, interacting and learning. I love music and art - creating and experiencing, and being physically active in skateboarding and cycling, and some running too. I am really eager to learn, and am always looking for new adventures.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I love almost all music - I am really into Funk and Jazz. I play bass and guitar, and love to get down on the drums when I have access to a kit. Hook is my all-time favorite movie, but I am also a huge horror movie fan. I also LOVE Jackie Chan movies. Ishmael is one of my favorite books, as well as the autobiography of Gandhi, and I am also a big fan of the Harry Potter books.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

What I have to teach is a culmination of experiences that have lead me to form a growing consciousness and awareness of human interaction - with other people and the world. I love sharing what I have learned and how I feel about people and our interactions.

What I am interesting in learning is other people's experiences and the outlook they've developed.
