About Me

CURRENT STATUS

A boy joined us in 2020.
We are trying to make him see more of the world.
Welcome to visit or stay us, especially couples or family with kid.

We moved in an apartment in Banqiao (near Far-East Hospital MRT station) .
We are usually busy during weekdays and have schedule for the weekends, but we are continuously finding some time to make our place better and more like home. When we have time, we can host people or meet travelers.

ABOUT US
-----------------------------------------

I'm Guan-Cheng (Todd) and my wife is Hsin-Tzu (Claire).

We are backpackers, and have traveled in Asia, Africa, Europe, North and Latin America together. Not only sightseeing, we have passion to learn the culture, history, language and try the traditional food.

We are hosts and also surfers, love to meet different people, learn from each other, and share experience. We are friendly and easy-going. By CS, we have met many wonderful local people and other travelers in the world. The meaning of CS for us is not just "free accommodation", it means communicating, and sharing.

Although we had quit our jobs to travel around the world, we are hard-workers while we are working. We improve our professional skills and earn money for traveling; work hard, play harder.

We love books, musics, and movies, so recommend us some from your country would be great.

PHILOSOPHY
-----------------------------------------
"When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it." -Paulo Coelho

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
-----------------------------------------

Help others who get into troubles or have problems during their journey. Through CS, we can meet people from countries all over the world and learn something from them.

Surf in several places during our trip. Share each other's life and culture, do something together.

Try to meet new friends and find language exchange opportunity, which is also interesting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
-----------------------------------------
Most hosts/surfers we met are amazingly friendly. It's so nice to chat with other travelers at different places. Most of them are open-minded and willing to explore and share things!
