I spent the first five years of my life in suburban San Juan, Puerto Rico, and was raised in northern suburban Orlando, Florida.

I went to the University of Central Florida. and I spent my last semester at the University of Dar es Salaam in Tanzania, then I spent a few months in Colombia. I finished a master's degree in global health, parasitology, and tropical medicine at Tulane University in New Orleans. I worked for a few months as a laboratory researcher at the Yale School of Medicine, and now I do editing work online.

I'm also applying for PhD programs, mainly in Europe.
