About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Meet people and make new friends!
ABOUT ME
Ok... so a brief description of me : interested by life and curious about people. Already a quarter of century on this planet, and still feeling new on it. What makes me happy : share, exchange, discover, understand. Not necessarily by travelling on the other side of the earth : sometimes, joy is just behind the door...
PHILOSOPHY
Everybody makes mistakes. I did a lot and I'm not done with that... But what life taught to me is to keep confident to the future, to the others, and to myself. Never let people tell you who you are and where you have to go : YOU are the driver of your life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
By welcoming people that wanna spend a night in Lausanne, and meet a guy full of interests! ;-)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Wow!... It's less than one year I'm registered on CS, and I have to say now that I have so many unique experiences, and these are so frequent now, that I cannot get it updated on my profile!!!.... But between all I lived with CS, I still keep in mind :
- My bicycle trip along french ocean coast during summer 2008 ;
- Some very unique people I had the opportunity to host here or to surf to (Marion & Yoann, Melodie,Giuze, Myriam...)
- NYE 2009 in the mountains (thanks to Giuze, our devoted ambassador, here, in Lausanne!)
Interests
Nature sport : hiking, mountain biking, windsurfing. Good music (eclectism is the word to describe the musics I like).
- traveling
- socializing
- music
- cycling

- windsurfing
- sports
- teaching
- mountains
Music, Movies, and Books
For the movies : The Big Lebowski, The Modern Times, Pulp Fiction
For the music, I'm quite ecclectic (like the great majority of people!) : Jack Johnson, Ray Charles, Chinese Man Records, Yann Tiersen, Madonna, Dire Straits, Bobby Lapointe, etc...
For the books... never can find the time to read... Something I have to change.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Change the napkin of my first nephew (several times!)... (2004 to 2006)
Watching aurora borealis in the cold nights of the Icelandic desert (2006).
Road trip with my bike in France, 1200 km (2008).
Exchanging some smiling glances with my second nephew, when two monthes old!!! (2008)
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach... Well... I should be a teacher next year... It's quite fascinating to teach things to young people, and read the interest in their eyes... But I want to go on learning! And sharing also from and with people, in a balanced relationship... So who knows what I will do next year ?... My question is : can we teach and learn alltogether ???
