I would like to go on adventures all around the world encountering all different types of people and culture and completely immerse myself in it!

ABOUT ME

I was a full time student at the University of Minnesota studying International Relations with a double major in French. I however, decided to take a sabbatical rest from school for a year, life is short (and jobs are scarce). And am currently an Au Pair in the South of France pursuing all of my passions in Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba, Rugby, people, and the French language & culture. An introverted extrovert, is what I'd like to consider myself, and immense love for people interaction, with a consistent need to retreat just to ponder and ingrain all that I learn. Not one for superficial things, but open to everything. I can do with a nice cup of coffee, a meaningful conversation, but I can also get down on that dance floor. I am a woman of people and cultures, and would like to give and receive. I'm all about embracing experiences and becoming more acquainted with life and the world. So if you're looking for easy going company with an abundance of personality, and free in spirit, there's a saying from where I'm from, "holla at cha girl!"

PHILOSOPHY

Never outputting more energy than need be, and stay away from the kind of energy that drains the soul. Attempt to respond with positivity in all circumstances, because although there are situations we have no control over,we do have control of how we respond to them. Give genuinely, and you'll find that people will respond to you with more authenticity. Life is short fill it with love and and make every moment count by appreciating it. Travel, love, be loved, and live fearlessly. And most importantly breathe, and look up from your phone every so often. ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Working in the operating room in the South of Laos translating the cataract surgery procedure from American Ophthalmologists to the Laotian Ophthalmologist.

Teach, Learn, Share

I speak French, Lao, and Thai and can make a mean stir fry and am willing to share the knowledge that I have! I play a little of the six string and love sharing some tunes. Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba, I can help you learn the basics and am willing to learn from you.
