I have been living in Sydney for almost 3 years now. I moved here from India and it started the most amazing phase of transformation in my life.

It is hard for me to define myself with stereotypes as I've broken a bunch of them. And all because I realised what makes me happy is what defines who I am, not society.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to travel slow. Which means making actual friends in the places I stay in. I enjoy simple and joyful things to do in your lovely city/town.

I would love to build long-lasting friends all over the world. That is why I'm couch surfing.

Running
I generally visit parkruns whenever I can during travels or my regular life.
I mostly plan my holidays around Running events. Best so far has been New Zealand for the Queenstown half marathon.

Hiking
Not everyone can run but everyone should hike ! Love the outdoors.

Camping
Still trying different types of camping but generally love being with nature. Campervans seem the best so far. Tents are not too bad in good weather though.

Coffee
I love black coffee. I am happy to make some for you as a host. Visit the best cafes around you as a guest

Morning
I'm a morning person. If I wake up at 7am , I've slept in.

Wine and Cheese
Love some red wine and soft cheese. Goes great when topped with some amazing conversations

If you are a runner I would absolutely love to go for a run at your local routes or show you the ones in my city.

I am not a fan of touristy places, however I do like to show people the hidden but easily accessible spots in my city. These are places I enjoy spending time and really are beautiful. I'll be happy to show you around.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have gone from not being able to run for 5 mins straight to running four half marathons. I'm quite proud of it. Training for a marathon now.

I have also made a rather big network of friends and close friends in Sydney. When I arrived I knew no one in Sydney. But I'm proud of how amazing these people that I have found are. I think I have a talent for finding people who are gems.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have helped a few people with English and it's amazing to see how well they speak now. Feel proud about it . But it was all their hard work of course

I am a techie and happy to help in any way I can. Generally people ask me advice for buying new stuff.

I will be happy to provide any kind of assistance. I can help with cooking and cleaning. I am actually here for meeting people and getting *free* accommodation isn't my priority. So an Airbnb kind of arrangement works well for me too.
