About Me

I'm fiercely loyal to those I care about.
I have a thirst for adventure and traveling (naturally).
I appreciate the little things.
Rain makes me happy.
I'm an extremely passionate person and it drives my life.

PHILOSOPHY

If you give, you will get back - probably not from the same person, but from someone else. But it all comes back - the good (and the bad).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really enjoy meeting new people and hearing your stories. The people you meet while travelling can really shape your experience of the place - I prefer to interact with people who can show me their favourite places rather than visit tourist attractions.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to know people's life stories, their struggles, their weaknesses, their successes - they are all precious lessons that can go unnoticed if we don't put the effort into knowing them.

Bridges’ Model of Transition Management (helpful for going through any sort of life transition):

-Change is situational, Transition is psychological.

-Transition is divided into 3 stages:
1. Ending, Losing, Letting Go – recognizing what you’re losing, even in a positive transition
2. The Neutral Zone – consists of psychological realignments and repatterning
3. The New Beginning – discovering a new identity and sense of purpose

-You are in all 3 phases at any given moment. The thing that varies is how much you are in each stage (depends on time and importance of stage). For example, you never truly lose something, as it has always played a part in who you are today.
