Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To continue my ever evolving personal journey to peacefully and harmonically experience the world, life, people, and nature.
ABOUT ME
I started most of my traveling in 2005 when I worked as a DJ on cruise ships around the world, and I've been fortunate to have experienced many amazing places and met lots of wonderful people since then. No matter what direction life takes me, travelling is a constant goal and experience that remains at the core of my being.
I also love music, being vegan, learning, meeting people, good conversation, friends and family.
The Vancouver area has been my home for my whole life, and as much as I love travelling, I always enjoy returning to this beautiful city, especially in the summertime.
I work as a DJ and a music programmer. Music is a huge part of my life, and I'm grateful to be able to make a living doing what I love.
PHILOSOPHY
"It's strange how the simple things in life go on while we become more difficult." -Richard Brautigan
"Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened." - Dr Suess

Music, Movies, and Books
Being as constantly immersed in music as I am, it's tough to list all of my favourites, but a random sampling would include: Grateful Dead, Prince, Bob Dylan, Bob Marley, Marvin Gaye, Counting Crows, Ryan Adams, Joni Mitchell, Townes Van Zandt, Josh Ritter, Black Keys, Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul, Mos Def, The Roots, Marissa Nadler, St. Vincent, Sarah Slean, Gram Parsons, Beres Hammond, Wilco, Sam Cooke, Broken Social Scene, Bon Iver, The Band, Ray Lamontagne, Faces, David Ruffin, Belle & Sebastian, Iron & Wine, Ani Difranco, Stevie Wonder, and on and on...
My list of Favourite films could be almost as long, but to keep it short: The Thin Red Line, Lost In Translation, Being John Malkovich, I Am Trying To Break Your Heart, Do The Right Thing, George Washington, Almost Famous, Apocalypse Now, Basquiat, Assasination of Jesse James, Before Sunrise, Before Sunset, and anything by Wes Anderson, Spike Lee, Gus Van Sant, Godard, Tarantino, or Scorsese.
I read a lot, too - Richard Brautigan, Tom Robbins, Hunter Thompson, Al Purdy, Jack Kerouac, Allen Ginsberg, Noam Chomsky, Jim Carroll, Michael Ondaatje, Sylvia Plath, Ethan Hawke, Elizabeth Smart, Reinaldo Arenas, Pablo Neruda. Music biographies, cultural studies, spirituality and religion, health and wellness, poetry.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Too many things to list!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can cook delicious vegan meals and bake tasty vegan goodies for you! I have a great passion for learning, and sharing knowledge and experiences with others is one of my very favourite things. School is much too structured for my liking, so I especially seek out ways to learn from and exchange knowledge with others.
