About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live Life, Love, Respect, Knowledge, SURF!

ABOUT ME

I love the ocean. I love to think about places. I am happiest outside. I am captivated by the world and the interesting people in it. My favorite thing to do is eat. Perhaps I am a nomad, I can't sit still. I am entranced by supermarkets in foreign countries. It's weird, but I look at the things people eat, like others decipher and pick apart art :)

I am vegan. I like plants, roots, and tubers.

I think you learn a lot about yourself in the act of traveling. You learn where your thresholds are, and what you can handle. Getting lost and finding my way around in foreign countries is the best! I don't like maps. They are confusing to me. It is much easier to ask a local on the street and plead for help hahah. I have found in my travels that no matter how lost you are or become, you will eventually find your way.

PHILOSOPHY

In this chaotic world, we are often jaded by crazy political/religious fanaticism. Taking a step back, we must realize that the only way to live is to respect and love each other. No one has ever died in the name of peace!! Actually, they have, but that's just dumb :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed in Italy, Belgium, and Germany thus far. I could not dream of a better project than couchsurfing. It allows you to meet people you might not meet if you were traveling like a tourist in hotels and hostels. Couchsurfing creates the authentic experiences that world travelers can only dream of. You couchsurf for a night and make a friend for a lifetime.

I want to learn what makes people from around the world tick. What makes us as individuals who we are. Teach me something cool. Like...the human thigh bone is the strongest bone in the body.
