Overview
About Me
I am a very interesting person who is a little shy but once I am comfortable you will find me to be a very personable person.
I am someone who loves nature and would love to spend time with friends watching the stars and appreciating the beauty of the world.
I have my own blog that I update often: http://www.soulfullythoughtful.blogspot.com
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would like to meet people and make new people.
I've relatively lived a life that is very sheltered and would really like to add spice to my life by meeting interesting individuals of the world.
I am grateful now that I have the opportunity to travel Europe since I am studying in France now. I am well travelled in Southeast Asia since I am Singaporean but I think there is more out there. So Europe, I hope you would accept me with open arms.
Interests
I am professional dancer and choreographer in traditional Southeast Asian Dance.
I love to read and write poems. Yes, I am quite the sentimental person but I am accommodating and understanding of people from all walks of life.
I attribute this open-mindedness of mine to my parents who taught me to love people for who they truly are regardless of faith, religion, sexual inclination or political views.
Furthermore the exposure I received while living as an international student in Australia was truly integral in re-shaping my world view: I am a first and foremost, a humanist and I demonstrate my love for humanity in my dance creations.

Music, Movies, and Books
Comedy, Animation Movies. Ok, ok, I like romantic movies too. Haha!
World Music, I love listening music from everywhere particularly if its music which reflects traditions and heritage.
Currently reading: George Orwell, 1984 / Animal Farm;
The sort of books I read range from topics dealing with peace studies, anthropology, dance research, international relations, comparative religions and performing arts research.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Find it difficult to highlight one:
Volunteer work in Zamboanga, Philippines.
I choreographed a flashmob in Singapore to promote Kindness.
Teach, Learn, Share
I cook Southeast Asian food well, although it might be a tad spicy for some.
I can teach you simple dances from my region.
Cultural Exchange ultimately! I am always keen to learn something new!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Intellectual and entertaining conversations.
But as much as I am someone who entertains, I am also a listener. It is always great to listen stories from my hosts and their experiences!
There is so much we can learn from having conversations.
Ultimately, what I can offer you is assurance that I will respect you and the place you have provided me to stay: my eternal friendship :)
