In life? With rapturous fervor, when at all possible.
With people? Warmly, openly, light-heartedly.
With CS? Well, here I am. Got a nice sofa or two largely unspoken for, quel dommage!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Many superb humans have graced this home since joining CS. I Love this gateway to our global community and the friendships unfolding and yet awaiting...
I've also visited a good many couches in my day, pre- CS-era and now with it.
I tend to sleep well wherever I feel welcomed.

I'm recalling a comfy one in Montreal during Jazzfest right now that came with twin orange cats...ahhh.
A few luxurious days in Chang Mai with The grand lady of Burgundy, FR, and most recently with the sweetest DIY family outside of Amsterdam...

Music bends my precious metal into sensitive shapes.
I enjoy something of most imaginable genres, but let's see if I can find more specific wording~
I Love music with a story to tell, soulful, jazzy, bluesy, gospel, wisdom and/or beat heavy, devotional, old timey, folk-core?, Rawwwkin', hip-hoppin, classical Indian vocal/raga and beyond. I'm a singer and refreshing some of my dormant instrumental skills of days gone by. Let's make some music!

Shantaram, finest book eaten in years.
A Fine Balance, Fourth Uncle in the Mountain, and Sufi Pathways are at various states of partially-read at the bedside too....

Movies~
Love 'em. Maybe I'll pick a few representatives of the general gist of my tastes later. Brain is tired.

One day not long ago, a 3-4 year-old boy at the playground has an accident in his pants after racing off the merry-go-round to prevent it. To remedy the situation, he just kicks off his shorts and returns to the merry-go-round, plops onto it belly-down, bare-moon high, and proceeds to happily spin his bare cakes 360 degrees, for all of creation to enjoy, giggling all the while! Wheeeee!
