HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have stayed on couches every now and then. It's been mostly positive. I find the important thing when staying in one's home is to tread lightly and be a channel of positive energy.

Music, Movies, and Books
Recently read "Shantaram" by Gregory David Turner - awesome ! I love the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy, "Da Vinci Code", Social studies such as written by Noam Chomsky. Musically, I'm a huge Buddha Bar fan, as well as a lover of acoustic string music, reggae, funk, folk, traditional, latin, and anything good ! I've never owned a television.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Well my trip to Homer, Alaska in 2004 was awesome ! I met up with Mikey at the Salty Dawg Saloon on the Homer spit after driving 2500 miles over three days. Fast forward two days and we're embarking a a nine day kayaking trip around Kachemak Bay. Otters, Seals, Sea Lions by the hundreds; Mountain goats; baby bears play fighting on the beaches; A humpback whale surfacing a mere 100 feet away in the water; catching salmon and rockfish for dinner; mussels off the rocks; blue water; massive rocks of mountains; a sun that almost never sets; bliss.......
