About Me

I'm a 23 years old chemistry student in Germany, I live in the city of Charlemagne (Aachen) for quite a while now , and I'm falling in love with it more and more every single day.

I grew up in a small town in Morocco called Meknes and I would probably tell on and on about the "Beauty" of my country.
Traveling is something I haven't done a lot but it's definitely something I'm planning to do more in the next years because it's just Awesome !

My mother-tongue is The Moroccan dialect ( no it's not Arabic, it's much worse :) ) and I also speak French, English and can have small little talks in German ( although it's not my favorite language).

I like to spend my free time ineffectively , Duh ! so I usually watch movies, series (depending on my mood) I also like cooking -occasionally- and I wouldn't miss any opportunity to hang out with friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I guess it started when I was new to Germany and needed to get to know new people and hang out, and now it's kind of the same :)
You know what they say: you can never know enough people

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: it really depends on my mood but I usually like traditional music, everything involving the guitar or the piano ( sometimes metal music).

Movies: The Godfather, most of Tarantino chef-d'oeuvres like "Inglorious Basterds" but also movies like: "Titanic" "About time", "Me before you"...
and the usual in matters of series: "Breaking bad" "Sherlock Holmes" "Friends"....
Anyways , Netflix I love you !

Books: I don't do much reading unfortunately, but if there is one book that I wish I would forget as soon as I finish reading, just to get to read it all over again it would be "Antigone" of Jean Anouilh . Thanks to our High school program for making me read it and love it ever since.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I would say it was visiting all these new countries I've been to.
