About Me

Hi guys!
I grew up in several cities in France, as good as the capital as others places, and in Vienna, Austria for 2 years. I'm currently living near Paris in its close neighborhood, i know what it's like to discover a new place, get used and live into it and change for another one.
I'm an open minded person, very curious, always happy to discover and learn something new, but also to share what I know and have learned by my own or with other peoples! I'm always happy to help and give a hand, so being in Couchsurfing is a natural and obvious continuity!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

By meeting local people I think it's the best way to discover new places, cultures and so on! And by this way we can both learn from each other and share good times!

Interests

Music is almost my mantra, I've practiced violin for more than 10 years (and others instruments) and listen to it almost everytime in the day! I listen every kind of style, from rap to techno passing by rock'n'roll, disco, funk... so going to clubs and festivals is, once again, obvious for me! i make a bit of music, mostly on computer, and also podcasts that you can hear this way : https://www.mixcloud.com/arnaud-paupert/

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lately, it was the climb of Adam's Peak in Sri Lanka. During a pilgrimage with more than 50.000 locals around me, i started to climb the 5.000 steps at 1 a.m in the morning, traffic congestion almost every time, i managed to came on top, through the crowd (more than in the subway at the highest peak attendance!) at 6:30 to see the sunrise above the clouds, really awesome and special... also for the story, it is known to have a footprint in the rock of buddha, with a temple dedicated to its print :)
