About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoy the preparation for the future, not preparing to enjoy the future!

ABOUT ME

I grew up in the suburbs of Maryland. My passion was art for as long as I can remember. Another hobby when I was younger was cars. When I graduated high school I got really into music (Hip Hop). Music drove my life and goals. It brought me to L. A. Where I became an audio engineer and composer. I longed for adventure and despised the city so I quit the studio and became a full time sailor. I am very very happy now! My goal is to sail around the south pacific and visit as many islands as I can.
I'm an Atheist and very interested in space (I know that's about as vague as it gets), Evolution, biology, neurology, travel, etc.

PHILOSOPHY

I'll let you know when I figure that out.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love the idea of helping people with their lives however possible and CS seems like a great way to do just that. I may not always be able to offer a couch but I will try to host as best I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My best experience of being taken in was in Hawaii by a wonderful family. It's such a great feeling to know that there are good people everywhere.

Interests

I am interested in music, art, biology, anthropology, great stories, and meeting new people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Reggae.
I think my favorite albums are The Wrong Way by Sublime, Distant Relatives by Nas and Damian Marley, and Dub Qawwali by Gaudi and Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.
Pixar movies are always awesome. good CGI. Terminator 2 is the ultimate movie.
Thor Heyerdahl is my hero, so of course some of my favorite books are Fatu Hiva: back to nature, Kon Tiki, and Aku Aku. I love true adventure stories involving the tropics and islands. I also like good educational books on subjects that interest me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Western China was pretty amazing. Northern lights in Alaska. chichen itza, Mexico. Sailing from Hawai'i to California. And hopefully much more to come!

Teach, Learn, Share

I have learned a good deal about technical trades, music, and art. Also life lessons about having confidence in yourself and your future. A huge struggle for me growing up was motivation. In dealing with that I have learned how to be effective and goal oriented.
I am intrigued by people who have found unconventional ways to have truly fulfilling lives. Someone please teach me your ways!!! Lol

Countries I’ve Visited

Brazil, China, Mexico, United States
