Simply to relax and enjoy life by traveling and seeing as much of this beautiful world as possible.

ABOUT ME

We both love to travel, and this past summer spent 4 months in the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, and traveling around the west side of the US.

==== Ondrej =================
I was born in Prague and moved to the US at the age of two. For the next ten years my family moved a lot due to my dad's job, and I was in a different school almost every year. In those ten years I lived in Colorado, Oklahoma, South Carolina, and finally Michigan. Ever since the first trip I took with my parents back to Prague, I've been in love with traveling and seeing the world.

I started a company doing computer repair when I was in high school, and through networking I began working for a financial firm doing everything IT - programming, project management, networking, and maintaining our local and remote servers.

I have an extremely relaxed and laid-back personality, and I'm always relatively calm in situations that would stress most people out. I try to enjoy every minute of every day, and I think that stressing out and worrying about stuff isn't the way to live life. I observe and enjoy. :)

I am born in a small country in Eastern Europe, Bulgaria and moved to the States at age 23 to continue my education. Michigan became my second home.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We joined couchsurfing to save money while traveling, and are looking forward to offering our couch once we get our own house. Until then we'd be happy to meet with anyone coming to the area. For anyone visiting, you may want to check out http://www.detroitadventurepass.org/ because until October 24 they offer free passes to most of the museums in Detroit (including the Detroit Institute of Art). If you're from out of state let us know and we can get the passes for you

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far all of our experiences have been very positive.

Well we obviously both enjoy traveling, but we also like to cook. If you'd like, we would certainly enjoy cooking a meal or two so you can taste some foods you may not have ever had before.

Ondrej - Computers & technical things, some time periods in history (The era of the Roman empire and also the middle ages & renaissance). I also love to play disc golf and shoot pool.

Ondrej - I like to listen to just about anything, but I generally prefer techno/trance while I'm working, and quiet, soothing music (like http://www.zenradio.fm) while relaxing.

The most amazing thing we have done is our trip this past summer. We experienced so many things that it didn't really even hit us until we got back home.
