Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Being a student of law, I'll point down my answer and will try to be very precise.

Firstly, Coz being a hostelite student who lives on a budget, l need a roof and save up cash on accommodation.

Secondly, the people you meet out here are all unique in there different ways. This makes Couchsurfing a "travellers' jungle".

Thirdly, when one is couchsurfing, it removes the sense of entitlement that one would be getting if one stays in a hotel.

And finally, with respect to my third point and quoting a fellow Couchsurfer James Norman, "I prefer the nature of the exchange that makes me feel like I’m part of a global community of people looking for meaningful travel experiences outside the mainstream, capitalist economy. "
