I am an engineering student at MIT, Manipal. I am originally from Anand, Gujarat. I'm pursuing mechanical engineering. I a newbie traveller and I aspire to travel more and more. I am a part-time graphic designer specialising in Adobe illustrator.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was introduced to couch surfing by a German traveller. She told me about the way she had made new friends and met amazing people while couch surfing through Europe and south America. This was my primary motivation to join couch surfing.

Music, Movies, and Books

Coldplay defines my type of music. After all the books I've read, I keep going back to Charlie and the chocolate factory. Although I love reading literature from Dan Brown. The lost symbol by dan brown is my favourite fiction book. No amount of Marvel or DC movies can ever catch my focus the way shutter island and Shawshank Redemption did.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I've done would be, travelling to manali with money enough only to pay for the train ticket, then finding work in manali to finance my stay and travel there.

That would follow with driving from manali to rohtang on a two wheeler. It was an exhilarating experience because of the narrow curving roads with the mountains on one side and the deep cliff on the other. Every single moment of that ride was filed with adrenaline, fear and excitement.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm currently involved in teaching English to kids of primary school at a government school in Manipal. I also help the kids with learning how to play the guitar. I can help people with their graphic designing needs like make poster, brochures, front end web design etc.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook food and play the guitar. If the hosts are interested in history then I have decent knowledge of world war 2 and it's effect on European territory, also I'm really good at cleaning . I can provide graphic design aid to my host by helping them establish an attractive online presence via posters and websites.
