About Me
ABOUT ME
Art historian and sound designer in Vienna since 2014.
I grew-up between Mexico City and California and somehow ended up spending most of my early 20's in the Middle East.
Four languages (and counting) and many countries later; travel is still the ultimate force of my life.
PHILOSOPHY
Expect the unexpected. I would have never imagined even two months ago I would to be living in Vienna or Dhofar province or Syria in 2010.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I host, I surf, and I help.
Interests
I love art + cinema, reading in cafes all day long, learning new languages, improving my Arabic, cooking dishes from around the world, playing with cats (I'm leaving my two cats, Lola & Spots in California), and when money and space allows, collecting 1960's records from around the world.

- My dance moves won over the hearts and madame of a shady, late night cabaret in Cairo
- Bought a random ticket to anywhere in the world (I chose Ethiopia) departing ON THE SAME DAY and left 6 hours later
- Hitchhiking Jordan with Jordanian college students complete with driving a top speeds on the hills of Amman and 1 A.M. shwarma dinner

- Road-trip from California through Northern Mexico and Narco-land with my mom
What I Can Share with Hosts
Art History + Culture: Chances are if I am CSing, I have plans for museums and culture. I am an art historian and love showing/teaching/experiencing art while I travel. Examples from CS include: an early Christian church on a rock in Cairo, 1st female designed mosque in Istanbul, and wooden mosques in rural Lithuania.
Cooking: I am an avid cook and would love to cook together or enjoy good food.
Mix CDs: Exchange, share, and making complete with some found art cards. I love pen pals; I've been sending mixes to far away friends before couchsurfing and using the internet oh so many years ago.
