Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been exploring places for a while now especially on my bike. The last two years has seen me take long rides to some of the most wonderful places.

However, one thing that truly hits me is the lack of feel of that place when you stay at a hotel. A line from the film 'The Beach' hits my head time and again. I don't remember the exact words but it was how we, would go out in search for homely comforts even when they look to go away from the familiar surrounding.

More than anything I would rather be a traveler than a tourist.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - All depends on the mood. I grew up on Tagore, Eminem, Bryan Adams, Coldplay, Enrique Eglisias, Richard Marx, Linkin Park and Limp Bizkit amongst others. In recent days I have come to dig Passengers, Porcupine Tree, London Grammar and Fink amongst others.

All time favourite movies - Gladiator, Shutter Island, Remember The Titans, Braveheart.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
