ABOUT ME

I am calm and friendly and really like being around interesting people! I enjoy many different things and love travelling. I'm a huge fan of the nature and reading. Overall, I like to learn new things, specially foreign languages, and meeting new people and places. Currently my wife and I are living in Europe and exploring all it has to offe.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been hosted and host whenever I can. I also love to take some time to show people around the city, talk about politics, history and culture. Also, jokes and laid-back conversations are always welcome =)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I believe it's the best way to really meet people and the world. The experiences I have had in CS have been incredible so far and I try giving back as much as I possibly can.

Interessen

I am mostly interested in people, specially when travelling. It's not that I don't like the sightseeing and monument visiting part of my trips, but I think that it's more worth having a good conversation than visiting a tourist monument.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I personally like books that make me think. Whether a "how-to" book or a fiction book, if it can make me think for a while even after I stop reading it, it's usually good.
As for music and movies, I am no critic, but I like listening to all sorts of music, which usually vary according to my mood. I have a personal preference for short movies and non-sense movies. Humor is also a must, specially if it includes irony and makes fun of "reality" =)

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Swimming with the bottos in the Amazon river and hiking in the hills of the coutryside of Brazil were definitely the best, but there still are many places I want to go to.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I have worked as an English teacher for a long time, so I can give people a hand with that. I can also teach some photography techniques...

Was ich mit Gastgebern teilen kann

I enjoy taking photos of people and places and I always like to give my hosts, guests and friends photos as gifts. I also love to cook for other people and try sharing a bit of my culture with hosts.
