ABOUT ME

A seasoned traveler and welcoming host, my third-culture / middle-eastern upbringing has opened my eyes to the benefits of an accepting and non-judgmental world view. I am an excellent cook, and love to savor the local fare of wherever I am, and especially love to cook while on the road with local ingredients and favorites. Coffee. Love Coffee.

For the past 3+ years I have been sharing my life (and now my home!) with the lovely Mariana Catalina, my partner in crime, in art, in love, in life! We have a beautiful and warm home in Greenpoint, Brooklyn from where we mount our theatrical pursuits. We also have a studio space in Bushwick and I have a scene shop in Ridgewood, which keeps me busy throughout the week / end.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Upcoming trip through Europe, but mostly because we had a WONDERFUL couch surfing experience in Asheville NC which really opened me up to the genius of this site.
