Resumen
Sobre mí
CURRENT MISSION
listen into all directions, and to all kinds of voices
ABOUT ME
Ah, not easy! What to put in such a little box, and how to keep that from slowly making me turn into the person who fits the words I so randomly choose?
Last Monday, someone called me kind. I like that. The week before, someone else called me neurotic - sure, why not, keeps things interesting! (He was referring to my flyophobia... or am I just saying that to sound more normal?)
I'd say I can be a bit of everything - outgoing, reserved, reflected, not so reflected, adaptable, stubborn, accepting or critical - depending on the circumstances. I try to keep a healthy balance. As a general rule, I try to be as happy and grateful and appreciative as I can.
I am better at listening than talking (except with a handful of people) and also better at writing than talking, but sometimes I am too lazy to write, which is when I'll just stare, silently.
PHILOSOPHY
"If I were to wish for anything, I should not wish for wealth and power, but for the passionate sense of potential -- for the eye which, ever young and ardent, sees the possible. Pleasure disappoints; possibility never."
- Soren Kierkegaard
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I surf, host, or go for coffees. That said, I don't like coffee, but I'll happily settle for an exciting herbal tea with you. I'd be happy to go rock climbing with you but don't expect the spiderman thing - I've been stuck on 18s and 19s for the past two years (and that's pn a good day full of muesli bars)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
In my time on Couchsurfing, I have met friendly, openminded people, and shared stories, food, and good conversations. Thinking about it, I've had the odd strange experience as well, which makes for a good story I reckon?
Intereses
I am interested in finding a good balance between work (I study socio-cultural anthropology) and play (hiking, reading, hanging out with friends).
Consumption, spirituality, and community are topics I find fascinating. And earthships just blow me away!

Música, películas y libros
the last book that i really liked was cormac mccarthy's the road. And recently, "Fräulein Niemand" by Tomek Tryzna; The Other Hand; Witch of Portobello by Coelho.
the early bob dylan & the late john lennon, Spearhead, some world, some dephazz, some more folk, some jazz, some mixtures... I go through phases (and it depends on my mood)
"best boy"; march of the penguins (so happy I am not a penguin!); whale rider; Man on Wire, Grizzly Man, The Visitor, Lemon Tree, Ink
Algo increíble que he hecho
Love the sound a (male) paucar makes: like a really big drop of water that falls onto a watery surface. Glug! Amazing.
Enseña, aprende, comparte
I´d love to learn how to knit my own socks! And, I´d like to learn more about permaculture.
If you could teach me how to produce a nice-sounding array of tones (-> sing!), you're a magical genius and I'd be superimpressed.
I can teach you how to make good German stone bread, and vegetarian/vegan food.
