About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Experience! Travel! Do what I love! Make a difference! well, and design/build a Net Zero Energy House

ABOUT ME

Originally from Chile. I grew up in a coastal city so I absolutely love the ocean and beaches. I'm super laid back and hate drama or passive aggressiveness. I love to travel, so everytime I get the chance I go to a new place.

I'm an engineering student, but most definitely not your usual stereotype. I try to be as active as possible and have lots of fun. Then I do engineering in my times off.

I'm a positive thinker so I try to stay away from haters and whiny people. Shit happens in life and you just gotta turn it around. If you put your mind to it you can achieve incredible things.

I despise conformity and monotony. I'm a strong believer that you gotta experience almost everything at least once (there are some obvious exceptions). It's painful to say no to things because I want to do it all. So I usually do it anyways and I sacrifice sleeping hours.

I'm a weird mix of latin and american (US) culture. I feel like at this point I'm neither a true Chilean nor a true American. But I think I've taken the best of both worlds.

I practice sustainable living most of the time but I also like to party hard. Love playing sports, drinking with friends, partying, camping, music festivals...you get the picture. I'm pretty much up for anything that's fun.

PHILOSOPHY

Do not do unto others what you do not want others do unto you

Do what makes you happy

Treat the Earth well. It was not given to you by your parents. It was loaned to you by your children

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I've mostly hosted people. I haven't couch-surfed yet mostly because I do my trips in short notice so I just go to a hostel.
