About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To find out if the carnival might actually be the revolution.
ABOUT ME
I like questions. Answers are not so much my thing.
Where did you come from? How was your journey? Would you like some tea?
As a bilingual nonsense monger, aspiring academic and performance artist I can, obviously, be very strange. But as your standard kind of girl-woman, music fanatic and seasoned fun-participant, I can – thankfully – be really lovely. Strange and lovely, that’s me. I’ve lived in a few different countries, with many sorts of people, and tell great stories. I make great jam, and also great jazz. ‘Silly’ isn’t my middle name, but I can pronounce ‘silly’ (and cannot pronounce my middle name).
Let me know if I can help you with anything.
Thank you.
No, thank you, really.
No, REALLY, Thank YOU.
Really.
Thanks. x
PHILOSOPHY
I'm known to say YONDER a lot.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My couch is always open. We make great music and meals, sometimes both at the same time.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Whilst I have been to a few couchsurfing meet and greets, last year while I was living in Tehran I met up with an extraordinary bunch of couchsurfers. Among the most active and intelligent young people I'd met in a long time, anywhere in the world. I've stayed on a few couches over the years, usually just for a night, especially when I was travelling around the US. xx
Interests
Over the years I've tried my best to make my life full of all the things that interest and excite me. These are, in some kind of order:
Performance - performance art, theatre, dance, singing.
Music
Festivals all over the world
Yoga

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Just one amazing thing? Wow. Hmmm, well, I think the thing I am most proud of, rather than the travels and tales, is that I bought my little brother a drum kit when he was 12, against my parents wishes. He is now becoming a fine drummer, and it keeps him out of trouble. it was the right thing to do, and that's pretty amazing. x
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach yoga, some aspects of performance/acting, Persian language and also how to make jam.
