About Me
**currently not available since I am abroad myself...! **
CURRENT MISSION
an empirical study into the sense of humor of travellers from different nations compared to the German as such
ABOUT ME
Having lived abroad for some time and having been lucky enough to be forced into extensive travelling by my parents (in my teenage years), the travel bug has since not let me go. Studying was the best time to live this to the fullest, with lots of backpacking around the world. Nowadays of course, a standard engineering job kind of prohibits month-long journeys, but I'm always looking for the next interesting destination.
PHILOSOPHY
Even if there is no life after death, even if this is all we get - heck, I'll take it anyway!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
If I can't travel the world, let the world travel to me! Well, occasionally at least. My couch will be most grateful for every bit of the great unknown world out there, every story told over a nice cool beer, every experience shared - like Calvin says: there's treasure everywhere!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Stayed with lots of really pleasant people all over the globe, and one quote of a fellow traveller from Thailand sticks to mind: "The more you travel, the more you realise that very very few people are actually arseholes." :-)
Interests
Seeing sights - since I've only moved to this part of Germany about a year ago, I'm still eager to explore the vicinity, and am happy to share any discoveries I've made.
Apart from that, I go mountain-biking, skiing, diving, motorcycling, and to the gym if I can be bothered.
