in my life i have…backpacked across southern africa**bungee jumped off of victoria falls in zambia **smoked something strange with the village elder in zimbabwe**ran 10 marathons, the 1st (and most of the subsequent ones) after partying all night**climbed 3922 stairs to the top of a mountain while removing invasive species**got busted the following weekend, not removing invasive species**was shown a better way to trespass while doing so and not removing invasive species by the guard with a fellow CSer**licked a glacier**went scuba diving in three of the oceans**discovered the meaning of life**jumped out of a perfectly good airplane—three times**got my PhD**saw the sunrise from the top of a mountain**experienced two earthquakes and a few hurricanes**went rock climbing**got 9 speeding tickets in 1 year**earned my black belt in taekwando**had my head busted open by a kayak, then had it stapled shut**used public transportation while dressed as a pirate**saw flowing lava**paid my rent from illegal gambling winnings**learned to swear like a sailor in sign language**moved to hawaii on a whim **danced on top of a piano and rode a mechanical bull at a professional conference**drank absinthe with a police officer at his home while dressed as a hula girl lamp during mardi gras**laughed until it hurt**cried until it hurt**purchased airplane tickets to far away lands after consuming WAY too much alcohol**figured it was better to ask for forgiveness than permission**entered an axe-throwing contest in new zealand**bribed border guards in burma to not arrest me b/c i accidently entered illegally**organized a human pyramid in a bar when things started to get a bit boring**went deep-sea fishing with locals in hawaii b/c i convinced them that i was a bad ass**talked the co-pilot into switching seats with me so I could fly an airplane over mt. everest...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

bungee jumped of the Victoria Falls bridge (separating Zambia and Zimbabwe) using substandard safety equipment...hmm maybe being copilot of a plane flying over Mt. Everest (after some convincing as I have no flying experience) qualifies as amazing as well.
