Hello there! Wow, it's been a little while since I've used Couchsurfing. I used the app back when I was traveling across the country and documenting the experience with film and photography. In that time I met some of the most amazing people and had some really wonderful adventures and memories. It's been some time and I will now be doing some traveling with my girlfriend and I would really like for her to experience some of the magic for herself.

I'm pretty laid back and easy going. I love anything that has to do with a camera. I definitely have a hunger for adventure, love to get around and see the unseen, the bizarre, the oddities etc.. I love good conversation, especially the really stoney ones even though I don't really get stoned anymore haha. I love a good beer, good food, rooftop views, photo ops, late night bonfires and yes, long walks under a full moon.

At any rate, and most importantly, I love meeting new people, trading stories and making new friends. I think it's a great opportunity to learn, to make new memories and to even discover new things in old and maybe even familiar places.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To be completely transparent, when I was traveling across the country alone, it really kind of saved my ass. I was really fortunate to meet some of the people I've met on here. It felt like I was family in some places and honestly, traveling alone, that means everything sometimes. Plus, you don't know a place until you know it's people. A city without its people is just a collection of buildings.

Music: I have a spotify playlist right now ranging from Radiohead to The Roots to Daniel Caesar to Lamb Of God... I am all over the place musically.

Movies: Pulp Fiction, Iron Man and all marvel movies, Kubo and the two strings, Rocky 1-4 and Creed, Bruce Lee (all films) or anything with a great story.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

((((Starting my vlogging adventure! I began creating weekly episodes of adventures a few months back after my grandfather passed away. It has helped me cope and express myself in ways I never could have imagined. I now want to take it on the road and document my travels, the people I meet, and continue to perfect my craft of telling stories through film. It is the amazing thing that I am DOING!))))

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to learn on the move with real world experiences. I've lived in the same state for most of my life and I think it'd be a breath of fresh air to get out of my box/comfort zone, to meet other people who share different insight and points of view. I teach by doing and being, but I am more concerned with learning, after all... the better the student, the greater the teacher.
