About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live a happy life, keep learning and travel hard.

ABOUT ME

I created my profile on CS on the occasion of my 1st Interrail trip through Central Europe, in Dec 2014. It was simply AMAZING. I met incredibly nice people and had one of the best experiences of my life, so it is time to give some love back :)

I love to speak languages, cook, share experiences, get to know new people and cultures. Even if it may sound cliché I think we only live once, and the best way to live life to the fullest is by sharing experiences with the rest of the world.
So feel free to share yours with me 😁

PHILOSOPHY

When one door closes, another opens.
Or you can open the closed door. That is how doors work.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm on Couchsurfing because I think it is an amazing way to travel in an authentic way. I've never really liked travelling as a tourist, I prefer "travelling as a local", and CS is a window into that paradox.

My first experience was a 15 days trip around Europe and it was one of the best experiences. So I've started hosting, and countries passing by at our place have been Japan, Bulgaria, Mexico, Poland, US... And counting ;)

Interests

My background is in translation and interpreting, so a lot of my interests are related to languages, cultures, food... But I do enjoy a good movie, reading, music, of course traveling. And laughing - that is definitely one of my main interests.

Music, Movies, and Books

This is the most common question and still the most difficult one to answer. I'd say lots, and sometimes it just depends on when I read/watch them. But we can discuss it together in front of a beer!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A 15-day trip around Europe during Christmas.
I interpreted Cristiano Ronaldo.

Teach, Learn, Share

Being a linguist I may help you out with some languages you want to learn or improve. I speak Italian, Spanish, English and French.
Furthermore, considering that I am Italian, I can teach you some amazing pasta recipes or how to make a delicious tiramisù 😬

What I Can Share with Hosts

I live in a 60 m2 in Larnaca, close to the beach and to the airport. Most of the time you would have an entire room for you.

Countries I’ve Visited

Andorra, Aruba, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Canada, Cyprus, France, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom
