About Me
ABOUT ME
We lead pretty hectic lives during the week - work - school - sport practise etc, but weekends we relax, go for walks, eat good food and enjoy the company of friends and family.
PHILOSOPHY
I often have to remind myself that I work to live not the other way around!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
A friend mentioned he has couch surfed and also hosted and he was very complementary of the CS Project. We like meeting people and hearing what it's like in other parts of the world so saw this as a way to help travelers while expanding our own horizons.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We have never couch surfed - but would love to one day!
Interests
Wine, Beer and Food! haha
Taking our dog for long walks.
Having friends over for dinner and games nights.
Visiting family.
We both had active sporting lives when we were younger and still have an interest in sport even though now it's more through watching rather than participating. Except in Steve's case if you count playing sport on the PC3 as participating.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am reading the Dexter series at the moment!
I'll be your best mate if you have seen 'Top Gun' as much as I have.
Steve is reading 'Crime' by Irvin Walsh at the moment and is a big fan of the George R R Martin 'Fire & Ice' series.
We both enjoy most forms of music and try to see visiting bands when we can. Some of our current favourites are Bloc Party, Kasabian, Arctic Monkeys, Pete Murray and The Presets.
We were both in our prime during the 80's so we do have an unfortunate like of music of that era. Very Sad I know : )
Steve is a keen follower of his sporting teams and a few of his favourites are:
Richmond, Adelaide United, Bristol City, Chicago Bears and Chicago Bulls.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have done a lot of travelling in outback Australia and visited some off the beaten track locations - these images will stay with me for a long time.
We recently travelled to Japan & Tasmania.
Steve has travelled to many European, Asian, locations, plus the USA.
Teach, Learn, Share
What I can share:
I can take you to some pubs in our outer suburbs that have not been touched since they were built! Some are quirky - and the people are genuine!
We can share Australian family life.
What I can teach:
I can show you how to cook good food and drink good wine!
Want to learn:
Show me how to cook food that you enjoy!
